Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to uphold software quality standards. Implement and execute automated test cases that cover functional, integration, and regression testing. Integrate automated tests seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab and Jenkins. Work closely with developers, QA engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify test requirements and scenarios. Analyze test results to detect defects and coordinate with development teams for timely resolution. Continuously enhance automated testing processes and strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior automation testers, fostering their professional growth and skill development.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should have 6 to 8 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to automation testing. Proficiency in Selenium (version 4 or 5) is essential, with a strong rating of 4 to 5 out of 5. Solid Java programming skills are required, also rated between 4 and 5 out of 5. Experience with Rest Assured for API automation is necessary, with a proficiency level of 4 to 5 out of 5. Hands-on experience using Appium for mobile automation is important, with a skill rating between 3 and 5 out of 5. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to work effectively on UI, API, and mobile automation projects. Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab and Jenkins, is critical. A strong understanding of test automation frameworks and scripting best practices is required.
