Sr. Business Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst (BA) to join our software services team. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background combined with technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of business processes. This role involves working closely with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure that business requirements are accurately captured, analyzed, and translated into successful project outcomes. The Business Analyst will play a key role throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), supporting projects under various methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.

Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to bridge gaps and facilitate smooth project execution.
- Manage and prioritize requirements throughout the SDLC, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurately reflected in project plans.
- Conduct process modeling using UML or BPMN to visualize workflows and system interactions effectively.
- Utilize tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Trello, and Microsoft Visio for tracking requirements and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
- Analyze data using SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI to support decision-making and project planning efforts.
- Ensure adherence to project methodologies including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Maintain stakeholder engagement through clear and consistent communication across cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Project Manager, or Software Developer.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency with requirements management and visualization tools including JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, and Trello.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities combined with strong communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in documentation.
- Solid knowledge of business processes, domain expertise, and customer-centric approaches.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Master’s degree such as an MBA or related advanced qualification.
- Professional certifications including Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or Six Sigma certification.
- Experience in process improvement initiatives and data visualization techniques.
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior analysts.
- Adaptability to evolving technologies and changing project requirements.

Compensation:
Monthly salary ranges from Rs. 250,000 to Rs. 300,000.
