Meds Nexus is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sr Credentialing Specialist to join their team on a full-time, on-site basis in Rawalpindi. This role operates during night shifts from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM (PKT), Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be proficient in carrier negotiations, data analysis, and provider profile management, with a strong focus on tracking enrollment statuses and maintaining accurate documentation. This position requires direct communication with U.S. insurance carriers to ensure timely credentialing and enrollment processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Workflow Analysis: Review provider credentialing files thoroughly to identify and rectify any missing documentation before submitting applications to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
- Status Inquiries: Proactively follow up with U.S. insurance carriers through phone and online portals to monitor approval stages and address any application rejections.
- Credentialing Hold Resolution: Collaborate with Billing and Accounts Receivable teams to resolve claims held due to discrepancies in enrollment effective dates.
- Master Profile Maintenance: Maintain and update digital provider files, including tracking logs, license expiration alerts, and contract effective dates to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Performance Reporting: Prepare structured weekly and monthly credentialing status reports using MS Excel for leadership review and decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of focused experience in U.S. provider credentialing and revenue cycle support.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and record-keeping abilities; proficient in MS Excel for data management and reporting.
- Language Skills: Clear spoken English with a polished written communication style.
