Sr. DevOps Engineer

We are looking for experienced Senior DevOps Engineers to join our dynamic engineering team located near Bahria Town, Lahore. The ideal candidates will have 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience and will play a critical role in automating software delivery, managing cloud infrastructure, enhancing system reliability, and optimizing deployment workflows. You will collaborate closely with development and DevOps teams to design scalable infrastructure, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), streamline CI/CD pipelines, and lead projects from inception to completion while mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
- CI/CD Pipelines: Design, build, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to automate software testing, integration, and deployment processes.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Provision, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Monitoring & Reliability: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure high system performance, availability, and reliability.
- Environment Management: Configure and maintain development, staging, and production environments to support smooth software releases.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose complex build, deployment, and infrastructure issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Manage containerized applications and support scalable deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce infrastructure security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), secrets management, access controls, and system patching.
- Technical Leadership: Lead end-to-end DevOps projects, make critical technical decisions, improve engineering processes, and mentor junior team members.

Required Qualifications:
- 8 to 10 years of practical experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or equivalent.
- Experience configuring and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Bitbucket Pipelines.
- Solid knowledge of containerization technologies including Docker (Dockerfiles, image management, Docker Compose) and practical Kubernetes experience, especially in production environments.
- Scripting skills in at least one language such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git workflows including branching, merging, and pull requests.
- Expertise in Linux system administration, networking fundamentals, and production troubleshooting.
