Sr. Engineer & Architect (Housing Societies)

Lakhani Group of Companies is looking for a seasoned Senior Engineer & Architect with extensive experience in master planning, housing schemes, society layouts, and infrastructure development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in planning and designing residential societies, preparing master plans and layouts, and managing infrastructure projects from inception to completion. This role requires hands-on involvement in both architectural and engineering aspects, ensuring projects meet quality, regulatory, and budgetary standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop detailed master plans for housing schemes and residential societies, covering land-use planning, zoning, plot divisions, road networks, and community facilities.
- Prepare and review society layouts, architectural plans, site development plans, technical drawings, blueprints, and 2D/3D models.
- Plan and design residential, commercial, recreational, landscaping, road, parking, and public-space developments.
- Oversee the design and implementation of essential infrastructure such as roads, water supply, sewerage, drainage, electrical networks, and other utilities.
- Review architectural and structural designs, engineering calculations, technical specifications, and construction documentation.
- Supervise contractors, consultants, site engineers, and construction teams to ensure quality workmanship and timely project delivery.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, material quality, and adherence to approved plans and specifications.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, project budgets, work schedules, and technical reports.
- Monitor project costs, timelines, resource allocation, and overall performance to ensure efficiency.
- Identify and resolve technical, structural, and infrastructure-related challenges during both planning and execution phases.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, safety standards, environmental requirements, and society bye-laws.
- Coordinate with government authorities for approvals, permits, NOCs, and statutory clearances.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations to the Society Management Committee and Board.
- Manage all project stakeholders including architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors.
- Oversee maintenance, renovation, repair, and upgrading of existing society infrastructure.
- Review construction and renovation proposals for compliance with master plans and society regulations.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to technical, financial, environmental, and construction aspects.
- Recommend sustainable infrastructure solutions focusing on energy efficiency, water conservation, and waste management.
- Maintain accurate records of master plans, layouts, drawings, approvals, inspection reports, and project documentation.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in master planning, housing schemes, residential society planning, and layout development.
- Strong knowledge of land-use planning, plot demarcation, road networks, zoning, and infrastructure planning.
- Proficiency in architectural and engineering design software such as AutoCAD and other 2D/3D modeling tools.
- Solid understanding of civil and structural engineering principles, construction practices, and project management.
- Experience in contractor management, cost estimation, preparation of BOQs, site supervision, and obtaining regulatory approvals.
- Excellent coordination, technical problem-solving, and project execution skills.

- Salary Range: Rs. 100,000 to Rs. 160,000 per month
