Sr. Executive Purchase Requisition Operations Port Qasim

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage purchase requisitions efficiently, ensuring alignment with stock trends and accurate cost allocation. This role supports plant controlling by providing timely and reliable data to aid decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare daily purchase requisitions raised by operations and maintenance teams, ensuring all details such as requestor name, department, date, products/services, and purchase justification are accurate.
- Verify each requisition for internal consistency, correct ledger account usage, and cost center allocation, requesting adjustments when necessary.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate the creation of new indirect material codes.
- Maintain a daily requisition log, tracking the status of posted and unposted requests along with reasons for any delays.
- Review purchase requisitions against monthly and year-to-date budgets at both plant and ledger levels, highlighting potential budget overruns to the Plant Manager.
- Communicate daily with stakeholders to resolve any issues related to purchase requisitions and request necessary corrective actions.
- Provide accounting support to project managers and operations staff by addressing financial concerns to meet business requirements.
- Assist the plant controlling function by ensuring timely delivery of relevant data to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
- Respond promptly to information requests from stakeholders, delivering data in prescribed formats on a weekly basis, detailing raised and issued purchase requisitions.
- Analyze system data to develop trend reports that provide visibility of requirements against minimum order quantities, presenting findings in weekly reports.
- Prepare weekly aging reports of open purchase requisitions and service requests, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding items.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in purchase requisition processes to promote adoption of best practices within the company.
- Collaborate closely with the Operations Excellence team to create dashboards and reports for KPI tracking.
- Work with Engineering and SAP teams to optimize Material Master Data.
- Partner with Engineering and GMS teams to optimize inventory levels, ensuring stock availability without shortages.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with 3 to 5 years of related experience, or
- Postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline with 1 to 2 years of related experience.

This position is based at the Port Qasim Plant.
