Sr. Expert Procurement Systems

The Senior Expert – Procurement Systems role at Telenor Shared Services Pakistan is a key position responsible for the administration, configuration, development, and operation of the Coupa platform. This cloud-based spend management solution supports sourcing and purchasing services globally and integrates with other ERP systems. The role demands a strong understanding of Coupa, functional DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and platform groups to ensure the platform meets business requirements and customer expectations while driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day administration and operational stability of the Coupa platform, ensuring data quality, platform health, and adherence to governance standards.
- Administer user roles, permissions, groups, and access controls in line with security policies and business needs.
- Perform master data administration, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency across relevant Coupa modules.
- Conduct regular system housekeeping, platform health checks, and administrative controls to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
- Analyze and process change requests and configuration updates from a functional and administrative perspective, assessing impacts, dependencies, and risks.
- Recommend and implement process and configuration improvements to enhance platform usability, efficiency, and user experience.
- Provide analytics and operational insights to support platform monitoring, incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support incident management, testing, release activities, and change implementation to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate with business, ERP, integration, and technical teams to resolve complex issues, deliver enhancements, and maintain adherence to SLAs and governance frameworks.
- Act as a subject matter expert in Coupa governance and operational forums, promoting standardization and identifying automation opportunities.
- Utilize AI, Generative AI, and automation technologies to identify and implement process improvements within the Coupa environment.

Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, with a functional understanding of Financials or Supply Chain Management processes.
- Alternatively, a degree in Finance, CA, or ACCA with relevant ERP implementation experience is acceptable.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in ERP or procurement technology implementation, specifically covering Coupa administration, process design, system configuration, testing, change management, production support, and end-user training.
- Strong knowledge of Source-to-Pay processes including sourcing, contracting, purchasing, supplier management, invoicing, and integrations.
- Proven ability to manage platform governance, lifecycle management, application health, security, risk, compliance, and vendor relationships.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English.
- Ability to work across multiple time zones, cultures, and flexible hours including public holidays and shifts.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
