Sr. Expert Procurement Systems

The Senior Expert – Procurement Systems role at Telenor Shared Services Pakistan is a critical position responsible for the administration, configuration, development, and operation of the Coupa platform. This cloud-based spend management solution supports sourcing and purchasing services globally and integrates with other ERP systems. The role demands a strong understanding of Coupa, Agile practices, and Functional DevOps, working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and platform groups to ensure platform stability, data quality, and continuous improvement. The position is based in Islamabad and reports to the Head of Coupa DevOps within the Finance & Procurement Tribe.

Key Responsibilities

- Take ownership of day-to-day Coupa platform administration, ensuring operational stability, platform health, and adherence to governance standards.
- Manage user administration, including roles, permissions, groups, and access controls, aligned with business and security policies.
- Perform master data administration to maintain data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across relevant Coupa modules.
- Conduct regular system housekeeping, platform health checks, and administrative control activities to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
- Analyze and process change requests and configuration updates, assessing impacts, dependencies, and risks while ensuring compliance with global Coupa governance.
- Recommend and implement process and platform improvements to enhance usability, efficiency, and user experience.
- Provide analytics and operational insights to support platform monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support incident and service request management, including prioritization and resolution of high-severity platform issues in collaboration with technical and vendor teams.
- Participate in testing, release management, and change implementation activities to ensure smooth deployment with minimal business disruption.
- Collaborate with business units, ERP, integration, and technical teams to drive standardization, governance adherence, and best practices across the Coupa platform.
- Identify opportunities for automation and AI-driven enhancements to improve procurement processes and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

- Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field with a functional understanding of Financials or Supply Chain Management processes. Alternatively, a degree in Finance, CA, or ACCA with relevant ERP implementation experience is acceptable.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in ERP or procurement technology implementation, including Coupa administration, process design, system configuration, testing, change management, production support, and end-user training.
- Strong knowledge of Source-to-Pay processes, including sourcing, contracting, purchasing, supplier management, invoicing, and related integrations.
- Proven experience in system ownership responsibilities such as platform governance, lifecycle management, security, risk, compliance, and vendor management.
- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English and the ability to work across multiple time zones and diverse cultures.
- Willingness to work during public holidays, shifts, and off days as required.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
