Sr. Fashion Designer

This position is suited for a creative individual with a strong passion for Western fashion, trend research, and design development. The role focuses on creating commercially viable collections while collaborating closely with production and merchandising teams to ensure seamless execution. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for style, functionality, and modesty, contributing to the brand’s unique identity and market presence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research on global fashion trends, colors, fabrics, and silhouettes to develop distinctive and marketable designs that align with the brand’s vision.
- Generate design concepts, mood boards, and seasonal collections that strike a balance between style, modesty, and practicality.
- Prepare detailed technical sketches and specifications, including tech packs, garment details, and trims, to guide production.
- Collaborate effectively with production and merchandising teams to ensure collections are delivered on schedule.
- Select and source suitable fabrics, embellishments, and trims that meet design and quality standards.
- Oversee sample development, providing constructive feedback on fit, quality, and finishing touches.
- Work alongside the marketing team to ensure product designs complement seasonal campaigns and promotional activities.
- Monitor competitor offerings and consumer preferences to maintain and enhance the brand’s competitive edge.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience as a Fashion Designer, preferably in women’s wear. Experience with modest or Western fashion is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of color theory, fabric selection, and silhouette design.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Solid knowledge of garment construction, pattern-making, and textile processes.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet deadlines.

Location:
This role is based at the Head Office located in Nazimabad S.I.T.E Area, Karachi.
