Sr. Functional Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Functional Consultant to support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of a Retail Management System (RMS). The ideal candidate will work closely with clients to analyze complex business processes, gather detailed requirements, and deliver tailored system solutions that align with business objectives. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to work independently while occasionally mentoring junior team members. The position is based onsite and offers a competitive salary range.

Key Responsibilities

- Facilitate the implementation and provide continuous support for the Retail Management System (RMS).
- Conduct detailed analysis of complex business process requirements, ensuring accurate interpretation, validation, and documentation of customer needs.
- Lead workshops to gather and clarify business requirements from clients.
- Map client business processes and objectives to system functionalities, developing necessary product modifications to meet client expectations.
- Design, customize, configure, and thoroughly test the Retail module to ensure optimal performance.
- Identify system gaps and issues, proposing effective workarounds and solutions.
- Serve as the primary liaison with clients for troubleshooting, investigating, analyzing, and resolving software-related problems.
- Proactively recommend enhancements to business processes and system functionalities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Deliver consulting services for both new system implementations and ongoing support projects.
- Provide ad-hoc training and user support to ensure smooth system adoption and operation.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and act as a subject matter expert to mentor junior team members when necessary.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Functional Consultant, preferably within retail or related industries.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience conducting workshops and gathering detailed business requirements.
- Proficiency in designing, configuring, and testing retail management systems or similar software modules.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot software issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- Willingness and ability to work onsite as required.

- Competitive salary range from Rs37,000 to Rs220,000 per month, commensurate with experience and skills.
