The resource shall be responsible for managing fabric sourcing & development of non-denim (twill) fabric for the Garments Manufacturing firm and will be managing it w.r.t the following areas;
Strategic Sourcing
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for non-denim fabrics in alignment with organizational goals and product requirements.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term relationships
Supplier Management
- Manage relationships with existing suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, quality compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and implement improvement plans as needed.
- Stay abreast of market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry innovation
Cost Optimization
- Analyze market trends, raw material prices, and global economic factors to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Implement strategies to optimize procurement costs while maintaining quality standards.
Quality Assurance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality control and production, to establish and maintain quality standards for non-denim fabrics.
- Address and resolve quality issues with suppliers promptly
Risk Management
- Identify and assess potential risks in the supply chain, including geopolitical, economic, and logistical factors.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure a stable and reliable supply of non-denim fabrics.
