Sr. Python Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML and Data Engineer who possesses strong technical expertise combined with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be adept at engaging with clients, understanding complex requirements, and driving opportunities toward successful closure. This role requires a professional who can balance hands-on engineering with business acumen—someone capable of architecting effective solutions, confidently presenting them, and converting opportunities into impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML and data engineering solutions tailored to client needs.
- Work hands-on with Python, SQL, machine learning models, data pipelines, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.
- Develop advanced solutions using Generative AI, large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), natural language processing (NLP), predictive analytics, and AI/ML frameworks.
- Architect and implement data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data processing workflows.
- Evaluate technical requirements and recommend appropriate architectures, tools, and technologies to meet business goals.
- Engage directly with clients to understand their business and technical challenges, ensuring alignment of solutions.
- Lead technical discovery calls, presentations, solution discussions, demos, and proof of concepts (POCs).
- Prepare detailed technical proposals, solution architectures, project scopes, cost estimates, and statements of work (SOWs).
- Collaborate closely with Sales and leadership teams to identify, develop, and close new project opportunities.
- Address technical objections effectively and communicate complex solutions clearly with a business-focused approach.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for upselling and long-term engagements.
- Work alongside engineering and delivery teams to ensure smooth project handover and successful execution.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience in AI/ML, Data Engineering, Data Science, or related domains.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, machine learning, data engineering, and cloud technologies.
- Proven experience delivering AI/ML and data-driven projects, preferably in client-facing roles.
- Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand complex client requirements and propose effective technical solutions.
- Demonstrated capability to take ownership of opportunities and drive them from discovery through to closure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value.
- Comfortable working with both technical and business stakeholders, with a commercially driven and proactive mindset.
