Sr Software Engineer - Python & Agentic AI

We are seeking a Generative AI Specialist with 5 to 7 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, data processing, and working with Large Language Models (LLMs). In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and optimizing AI agents utilizing LLMs and related technologies. A strong foundation in AI engineering and MLOps is critical to successfully contribute to our advanced technical environment and deliver scalable AI-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect and develop sophisticated AI agents that leverage LLMs and Generative AI technologies to automate and enhance supply chain processes.
- Fine-tune and customize LLMs for specific industry applications, including instruction tuning, embeddings, and integration with vector databases. Take ownership of one or more product modules with a deep understanding of their functionality.
- Write clean, efficient, and production-ready Python code following best practices and organizational standards.
- Build user-friendly, scalable user interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Next.js to improve AI-driven tools.
- Implement robust testing frameworks and automated pipelines to ensure solutions are reliable, maintainable, and scalable.
- Lead initiatives to reduce infrastructure costs and optimize system performance for AI applications.
- Participate actively in technical evaluations and coding challenges within the company.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology (BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech) with 5 to 7 years of experience in software development, particularly on large and complex enterprise applications.
- Proven professional experience in Python programming, AI application development, integrations, and data engineering.
- Strong knowledge of LLMs with a focus on AI agentic workflows and experience building and deploying AI agents using frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, and LangGraph.
- Hands-on expertise in LLM training, fine-tuning, embeddings, and instruction tuning.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of traditional AI methodologies such as classical machine learning and rule-based systems, complementing emerging agent-based solutions.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, innovation capability, and the ability to conduct research and development on the latest AI models and platforms.
