Sr SQA Engineer

We are looking for a Product Quality Assurance Specialist with over three years of experience in SaaS environments to join our IT team remotely from Lahore, Pakistan. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards for our SaaS products by performing thorough functionality testing, validating data integrity, and maintaining system reliability. This position requires close collaboration with product managers, engineers, and data teams to deliver a seamless user experience while safeguarding data accuracy and security.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual and automated testing across SaaS applications to ensure product functionality, performance, and security.
- Validate data integrity, consistency, and accuracy by verifying data pipelines, transformations, and reports.
- Perform API testing using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and data teams to identify and resolve bugs efficiently.
- Utilize testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, and JMeter to automate and streamline QA processes.
- Participate actively in Agile development workflows and support CI/CD pipeline integration for continuous testing and deployment.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards such as GDPR and SOC 2.
- Document test cases, defects, and results clearly to facilitate communication and continuous improvement.
- Analyze testing outcomes to identify trends and recommend enhancements to improve product quality and reliability.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance specifically for SaaS applications.
- Strong expertise in both manual and automated testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and experience with API testing.
- Hands-on experience with testing tools like Selenium, Postman, and JMeter or similar frameworks.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile development processes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of data privacy and security compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, SOC 2).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities to work effectively within a team and independently.
