SSA Soft is seeking for software engineer (PHP) for full-time to join our Lahore, PK office:
- Must have minimum of 5-10 years of Web development experience using PHP
- Having frontend & back-end development skills for Web applications
- Hands-on experience of integration with 3rd parties and surrounding systems
- Seeking an individual who’s interested to work on challenging projects
- The ideal candidate is a problem-solver, team-player, and eager to learn new skills
- Quality code and speed to deliver a great finished product and meet deadlines is crucial
- Must be able to follow directions with excellent attention to detail
- Design, development & implementation of extensible and scalable solutions, optimizing for resource utilization, performance, and supportability
- Help drive the definition of PHP and JavaScript frameworks to support new features and refactor legacy elements
Job Requirements
- Strong experience as a PHP / Laravel developer
- In-depth knowledge of object-oriented, PHP and Laravel and other PHP frameworks
- Hands-on experience with SQL schema design, REST API design
- Software testing (PHPUnit, PHPSpec, Behat)
- MySQL profiling and query optimization
- Creative and efficient problem solver
- Working experience in HTML5, CSS, jQuery and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
- Remain up to date by learning new technologies , concepts and best practices
- Effective communication skills
- Experience in integration of multiple data sources and databases (Oracle, SQL Server & MySQL)
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (e.g. SVN).
- Having 4 years degree in Computer Science/IT from recognized university
