Staff Product Designer

Key Responsibilities:
- Design elegant, user-centric product experiences that enhance sales workflows within the Guide Conversational Intelligence (CI) product area.
- Develop industry-leading system architectures, seamless user flows, interaction models, and polished visual UI designs for innovative AI-powered features.
- Present design strategies, concepts, and prototypes clearly to team members and leadership, articulating the rationale behind design decisions.
- Balance customer needs, business objectives, and technical constraints to deliver impactful product enhancements.
- Collaborate closely with other Product Designers to iterate on solutions and expand the company’s design system.
- Partner with Product Managers to shape product vision, conduct customer interviews, gather insights, and run usability studies to validate designs.
- Work alongside Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to advance core product capabilities and streamline user experiences.
- Develop deep expertise in sales personas, workflows, and user needs.
- Advocate for AI-enabled design tools and processes within the design team.
- Contribute to fostering an inclusive and vibrant design culture across distributed teams in the US, Czechia, and India, emphasizing mutual support and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:
- A strong portfolio demonstrating experience in shaping product visions for AI-powered products, including design concepts, customer journeys, visual UI designs, and interaction details addressing complex problems.
- Curiosity about emerging technologies and regular experimentation with AI to accelerate workflows and prototype new interaction paradigms. Portfolio examples of this are highly valued.
- Proven experience leading design for major feature areas or new zero-to-one products independently, with confidence in presenting informed viewpoints.
- Ability to work autonomously and lead cross-disciplinary workshops to frame problems and ideate solutions.
- Expertise in defining new product propositions and solving complex interaction challenges, especially for AI-powered features, with a deep understanding of emerging AI design patterns and best practices.
- Proficiency in rapid design and prototyping using the latest AI design tools, exploring multiple solutions, and proposing new UI patterns for conversational AI assistants and automation workflows.
- Strong communication skills to present work, processes, and decisions clearly to diverse stakeholders and actively seek feedback.
- Adaptability in adjusting design processes and deliverable fidelity to meet project objectives, including vision concepts, wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and detailed specifications.
- Experience working in fast-paced agile teams across multiple projects, maintaining focus on outcomes without being discouraged by challenges.
- Participation in and leadership of research activities to understand customer needs and envision innovative solutions in undefined problem spaces.
- Systems thinking ability to utilize and extend shared components and design patterns.
- Passion for detail, continuously refining work to achieve simplicity, elegance, and world-class quality.
- Commitment to improving design processes by introducing new methods, frameworks, and tools, with bonus points for leading initiatives from inception to production.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in digital product, UX, or interaction design for software products, including at least 1 year at Staff or Lead level. Experience designing AI-powered workflow productivity tools is a plus.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience engaging senior leadership and diverse audiences.
- Inclusive and transparent collaboration style with strong stakeholder management skills. Experience working with distributed teams across time zones is advantageous.
