We are looking for RF Optimisation Expert with a strong experience with Nokia Radio technology, mainly 4G, VoLTE and 5G.
Skills Required for the Job
- Technical knowledge, understanding and experience of the mobile radio access network - 2G, 3G,4G,5G.
- Understanding of the complex interaction between RAN Design and Capacity.
- Support RAN Optimisation and RF Tools.
- Understand RAN site design such as Hardware and Software.
- Understand RAN Performance/Optimisation and Planning activities, 2G,3G, 4G and 5G.
- Experience with macro and small cell nominal and final RF designs including RF KPIs.
Experience you would expect to have
- Validate the requirements for the new design or feature
- Plan the rollout
- During the field phase the engineer will be required to do detailed analysis of drive test data, counters and KPI, perform advanced troubleshooting, provide solutions, ensure correct parameter mapping from other vendor, feature mapping from other vendor, KPI mapping from other vendor, Layering Strategy, Load Balancing, Power Control.
- Provide weekly reports on the trial
- Good Knowledge on LTE, VOLTE, 5G RF optimization.
- Hands on Nokia Hardware equipment.
- Worked on network improvement and optimization tasks.
- L3 messages analysis and can perform analysis and recommend parameter changes.
- Troubleshoot multi-technology 3G/LTE/Volte/5G.
- Worked on TDD, FDD and multiband network and Vendor management skills.
- Analyse Drive test logs including L3 messages for customer complaints or others.
- Troubleshoot with creativity and different approaches for severe, undefined problems in networks and propose suitable resolving solutions.
- Perform BAU performance analysis for assigned areas/polygon (all technologies).
- Capacity management & optimisation, as per requirement.
- Defining the reporting capability for Service and Resource KPIs to monitor, manage and proactively improve the Customer Experience.
- Expert in HW specification to check an existing Nokia design
- Good knowledge of Nokia Airscale and the ability of making an HLD check and BOM verification
