Responsibilities:
Cash Management:
- Oversee cash flow, monitor daily transactions, and ensure adequate liquidity.
- Manage petty cash and reconcile discrepancies.
Receivables and Payables:
- Supervise accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and payments.
- Handle vendor negotiations and maintain positive relationships.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels, track stock movements, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to optimize inventory turnover.
Expense Management:
- Review and approve expense reports.
- Analyze expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement efficient practices.
Bank Reconciliation:
- Regularly reconcile bank statements with internal records.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Periodic Accounting:
- Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
Management Information Reports:
- Generate accurate and timely management reports.
- Provide insights on financial performance, trends, and areas for improvement.
Record Keeping:
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (In house developed) MS Excel, Word
- Strong report writing skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
