SEO Manager

Stormbison seeks a dedicated SEO Manager to join its Lahore office on-site. The ideal candidate thrives on analyzing search performance, identifying technical issues, and improving website rankings through comprehensive SEO strategies. With at least two years of practical experience, this role focuses on conducting site audits, optimizing on-page and off-page content, performing keyword research, and enhancing link-building efforts. The SEO Manager collaborates closely with content and development teams to implement solutions that improve visibility and user experience across digital channels. This position involves managing SEO campaigns using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, GA4, and Google Search Console. It requires familiarity with WordPress and popular SEO plugins such as Yoast or Rank Math. The candidate should maintain up-to-date knowledge of search engine algorithm updates to effectively adapt strategies and sustain competitive rankings. Although this role does not involve team management, it offers real ownership of projects and growth potential into leadership in the future.
Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive on-page, off-page, and technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues affecting search rankings and user experience.
Conduct detailed keyword research to develop targeted SEO strategies that increase organic traffic and improve SERP positions.
Optimize website content and structure by implementing best practices for metadata, internal linking, and page performance.
Manage and execute link-building campaigns to enhance domain authority and referral traffic from reputable sources.
Monitor and analyze website performance with SEO analytics and reporting tools including GA4 and Google Search Console, creating actionable reports to guide strategy.
Stay informed on the latest search engine algorithm changes and industry trends, applying this knowledge to maintain and improve search rankings.
Collaborate with content creators and web developers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content creation and site updates.
Utilize SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, and backlink analysis platforms to assess competitor strategies and uncover new opportunities.
Optimize local SEO efforts to improve visibility in regional search results and increase engagement from target audiences.
Maintain and update SEO plugins like Yoast or Rank Math on WordPress CMS to ensure technical SEO compliance and maximize site performance.
Conduct regular site health checks, focusing on Core Web Vitals and technical SEO factors that influence user experience and search engine rankings.
Generate monthly SEO performance reports summarizing key metrics, insights, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Take ownership of SEO projects from audit through implementation and evaluation, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
