Strategy Analyst

JazzWorld, Pakistan's largest digital operator, is seeking a Strategy Analyst to join their team in Islamabad. This role involves supporting the strategy function by developing high-level materials for the board and Executive Committee, including strategic frameworks, portfolio reviews, and offsite pre-reads. The Strategy Analyst will also prepare CEO and CXO presentations for external audiences such as investors, regulators, partners, and industry forums. The position requires transforming complex data into clear, compelling narratives for senior leadership, leveraging AI-assisted tools to enhance efficiency while maintaining strict confidentiality and sound judgment when handling sensitive corporate information.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the creation of board and Executive Committee materials by building structured, storyboarded presentations that simplify complex analyses into clear narratives.
- Prepare polished and accurate CEO/CXO presentations for external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with corporate messaging.
- Conduct comprehensive market, competitor, and industry research to provide insights that inform strategic recommendations.
- Track and report progress on strategic initiatives against defined priorities, such as annual strategic frameworks.
- Collaborate with Finance, Commercial, Technology, and Regulatory teams to gather inputs and ensure consistent messaging.
- Draft initial analyses, presentation decks, and briefing notes under senior guidance, utilizing AI-assisted tools and identifying opportunities to automate recurring strategy workflows.
- Manage timelines and follow-ups for strategy deliverables, maintaining document accuracy and consistency.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field; an MBA is considered a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in strategy, consulting, corporate planning, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to structure and simplify complex information into clear storylines supported by strong storyboarding and visual narrative abilities.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, comfortable with data-driven narratives, and a basic understanding of P&L, KPIs, and business cases.
- Experience using AI and large language model (LLM) tools professionally for research, drafting, and analysis, with a curiosity for new AI applications in strategy work.
- Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources into actionable insights and handle confidential, high-visibility work under pressure.
