This role exists to address a critical capacity and infrastructure gap within Disrupt’s strategic agenda. While the leadership team operates with strong instincts and speed, there is currently no dedicated analytical or operating function supporting them. This results in business cases being developed informally, priorities shifting without clear communication, and decisions living only in the memories of those present. The person in this role will build and run the planning, reporting, and decision-making infrastructure for the Executive Committee and Core Leadership Team, transforming management effectiveness and driving organizational performance to meet ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Goal Setting and OKR Management: Design and oversee the entire goal-setting process, including annual objectives, quarterly OKRs, and monthly targets across all functions and ventures. Manage the weekly leadership tracking rhythm to monitor progress, identify risks, and escalate decisions needed to unblock issues. Ensure follow-through on all leadership decisions, converting them into actionable workstreams and holding the organization accountable, even when it is uncomfortable.

- Prioritization Across Functions and Ventures: Maintain a live, consolidated view of all ongoing activities, including resourcing and sequencing implications. Continuously reprioritize initiatives as conditions evolve, presenting clear trade-offs and recommendations to the Executive Committee. Own priority initiatives that lack clear ownership, ensuring progress and accountability with named owners and milestones.

- Strategic Analysis and Decision Support: Serve as the analytical backbone for the Executive Committee’s key decisions. Break down complex, ill-defined problems into structured hypotheses and deliver confident recommendations with clear reasoning. Own financial and business models, stress-test proposals, and conduct post-mortems on major bets to embed learning into future decisions.

- Performance Reporting and Decision Governance: Build a unified leadership reporting system that replaces fragmented and inconsistent reports. Establish a disciplined review cadence including monthly performance reviews and quarterly business reviews. Define decision governance frameworks detailing how strategic decisions are made, documented, and revisited. Create and maintain a decision log and codify effective processes to ensure sustainability.

- Leadership Communication: Prepare board, investor, and leadership materials that withstand rigorous scrutiny, prioritizing analysis before narrative. Support Executive Committee and Core Leadership Team members for critical conversations by providing briefs, data, and anticipated objections. Manage the Core Leadership Team’s operating rhythm, including agendas, pre-reads, decision tracking, and follow-up.

Required Qualifications

- 3–6 years of post-graduate experience, primarily in management consulting at a top-tier firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain) or a strong strategy firm, or experience transitioning into strategy, chief-of-staff, or corporate development roles at high-growth companies.

- Proven ownership of complete workstreams with direct exposure to senior leadership, demonstrating substantive responsibility beyond analyst-level support.

- Advanced structured problem-solving skills and hypothesis-driven thinking.

- Strong financial fluency, capable of building and defending financial models independently.

- Executive-level written and verbal communication skills, able to distill complex analyses into concise, defensible summaries.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Top-tier management consulting training.

- Experience in venture building, private equity, growth equity, investment banking, or high-growth operating environments.

- Exposure to MENAP or global tech/venture markets.

- Sector experience relevant to Disrupt’s portfolio, including technology, digital commerce, financial services, and B2B software.

- Candidates committed to building a long-term career in Pakistan, including those relocating or recently repatriated.

Additional Benefits

- Direct, sustained access to Founding Partners and the full leadership team of a rapidly evolving venture platform.

- Ownership of the company’s operating machinery, designed and built by you.

- Exposure to the full venture lifecycle: formation, scaling, capital allocation, investment, partnerships, and exits.

- A clear, performance-based path to the Chief of Staff role.

- Significant responsibility and impact early in your career, with competitive salary and long-term incentive plans.

This role requires a builder mindset, independence, and the ability to operate through influence without direct reports. It demands comfort with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and accountability for driving leadership effectiveness across a dynamic organization.
