This role exists to address the growing strategic demands at Disrupt, where leadership operates at high speed but lacks a dedicated analytical and operational function to support decision-making. Currently, business cases and priorities are managed inconsistently across teams, leading to decisions that often only live in the memory of those present. This is not a problem of capability but one of capacity and infrastructure, which intensifies as the organization expands into new ventures, functions, and markets. The person hired will build and run the planning, reporting, and decision-making infrastructure for the Executive Committee and Core Leadership Team, transforming management effectiveness and driving organizational performance to meet ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Goal Setting and OKR Management: Design and implement the entire goal-setting framework, including annual objectives, quarterly OKRs, and monthly targets across all functions and ventures. Manage the weekly leadership tracking rhythm to identify progress, risks, and decisions needed to unblock obstacles. Ensure all leadership discussions result in clear decisions, owners, and actions, driving follow-through until completion.

- Prioritization Across Functions and Ventures: Maintain a live, consolidated view of ongoing initiatives with clear resourcing and sequencing implications. Continuously reprioritize work based on changing conditions, presenting recommendations and risks to the Executive Committee. Own priority initiatives that lack clear accountability and convert leadership intent into actionable workplans with owners and milestones.

- Strategic Analysis and Decision Support: Provide analytical rigor behind the Executive Committee’s key decisions. Break down ambiguous problems into structured hypotheses, deliver confident recommendations, and own financial and business models. Critically evaluate proposals, stress-test assumptions, and conduct post-mortems on major bets to ensure continuous learning.

- Performance Reporting and Decision Governance: Build a trusted, standardized monthly performance reporting system for functions and ventures. Establish a disciplined review cadence including monthly, quarterly, and portfolio reviews. Define decision governance processes covering framing, decision rights, evidence requirements, documentation, and review mechanisms. Maintain a decision log and codify effective processes for sustainability.

- Leadership Communication: Prepare board, investor, and leadership materials with rigorous analysis and clear narratives. Support Executive Committee and Core Leadership Team members in high-stakes conversations by providing briefs, data, and anticipated objections. Manage the Core Leadership Team’s operating rhythm, including agendas, pre-reads, decision tracking, and follow-up.

Required Qualifications

- 3–6 years of post-graduate experience, primarily in management consulting at top-tier firms (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain) or strong strategy firms (e.g., Kearney, Strategy&, Oliver Wyman). Candidates who transitioned into strategy, chief-of-staff, or corporate development roles at high-growth companies are also considered.

- Proven ownership of complete workstreams with direct exposure to senior leadership, demonstrating substantive responsibility beyond analyst-level support.

- Advanced structured problem-solving skills and hypothesis-driven thinking.

- Strong financial fluency, capable of building and defending financial models independently.

- Executive-level written and verbal communication skills, able to distill complex analysis into concise, defensible summaries.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Top-tier management consulting training.

- Experience in venture building, private equity, growth equity, investment banking, or high-growth operating environments.

- Exposure to MENAP markets or global tech/venture sectors.

- Sector experience relevant to Disrupt’s portfolio, including technology, digital commerce, financial services, and B2B software.

- Candidates committed to building a long-term career in Pakistan, including those relocating or recently repatriated.

Additional Information

This role demands a builder mindset rather than a maintainer. Candidates must be comfortable forming and defending strong views, independently sourcing answers, and operating through influence without direct reports. The ability to embrace ambiguity, learn quickly from mistakes, and adapt in a fast-moving environment is essential.

Successful candidates will gain direct access to Founding Partners and the full leadership team, ownership of the company’s operating infrastructure, exposure to the full venture lifecycle, and a clear, performance-based path to Chief of Staff. The role offers a competitive salary, leadership exposure, and participation in a long-term incentive plan.
