As an Assistant Engineer, the position will be responsible for the technical design and planning of a climate-resilient and child-friendly TLC structure using local low-cost materials at various sites.
Main Responsibilities:
- He will review specifications, identify requirements, and develop technical designs for the TLC structure while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- He will oversee the timely and budget-friendly completion of the TLC structure, ensuring that it meets the required quality standards.
- He will perform quality control checks, inspect materials and equipment, and ensure compliance with safety standards to ensure that the TLC structure is delivered to the required quality standards.
- He will supervise construction activities, manage construction workers, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and monitor progress at multiple project target districts.
- He will be responsible for preparing and maintaining project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, to ensure that all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
- He will liaise with various stakeholders, such as donors, district government, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities, to ensure effective communication and management of any issues or conflicts that arise.

- Adhere to SPO policies and promote participatory culture and demonstrate SPO’s values
- Participate in professional development training as identified and approved by SPO
- Carry out any other activities as assigned by the supervisor.
- Undertakes any other task assigned by the supervisor.
