Working closely with our Design Team, you will be involved in the following areas:
- Product/UX Design – design solutions that address user needs and business goals through sketching, research, wireframes, visual design, and prototypes. Develop intuitive, usable, and engaging interactions and visual designs for Swiggle’s digital properties. Participate in the nextgen development process from definition, through design, build, test, release, and maintenance
- User Research & Testing – elicit data and meaningful insight from our customers about their needs and expectations through interviews, surveys, and test plans that will lead to intelligent design decisions down the road
- Asset & Resource Design – build and maintain asset libraries (i.e. UI kits, UX flows, design templates, iconography, etc.), help explore tools and workflows to increase efficiency and quality of design
- Stay abreast of the latest UX standards, changes, and trends in the mobile design field
- Completed an Advanced Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Interaction Design, Digital Media or related fields with strong academic credentials
- Strong portfolio of product design work that shows research, rationale, and outcome
- Strong graphic design skills, with a good understanding of typography, intuitive layouts, and illustration
- Comfort and fluency in writing compelling business communications in English
- End-end designs skills from concepting, wireframing, prototyping, visual design to final polished product
- Strong ability to recognize and predict use-cases and user interaction, including happy path, edge and corner cases, and incorporate them into designs
- Excellent understanding of user-experience design, technology trends, and demonstrable design skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Products (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Great skills in Sketch, InVision, Balsamiq, Principle and other relevant design tools
- Deep understanding of Apple’s human interface design guidelines, Android design and other mobile platform designs, including Google’s material design
- Nice to have: previous experience working with startups a plus; experience with motion graphics (Adobe After Effects, Framer, or similar software)
- Profficient in designing 3d animations.
