Structural Draftsman

We are seeking a full-time Structural Draftsman to join a reputable design consultancy based in Islamabad, specializing in building and civil engineering projects. This on-site role requires a detail-oriented professional with up to five years of experience in structural drafting. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in AutoCAD and be skilled in preparing structural and submission drawings. Familiarity with building codes, as well as experience working with Architectural, MEP, and Firefighting drawings, is essential. The position operates during the morning shift and demands a professional approach supported by a portfolio showcasing relevant structural drafting projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and detailed structural drawings for various building and civil engineering projects using AutoCAD.
- Develop submission drawings that comply with local building codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
- Review and interpret architectural, MEP, and firefighting drawings to integrate structural elements effectively.
- Maintain organized documentation and ensure timely delivery of drawings for project milestones.
- Assist in resolving any drafting-related technical issues during project execution.

Required Qualifications
- Up to 5 years of professional experience in structural drafting within the building or civil engineering sector.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD with a strong ability to produce clear and precise structural drawings.
- Solid understanding of local building codes and regulations applicable to structural design and submissions.
- Experience working with Architectural, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), and Firefighting drawings.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A portfolio showcasing previous structural drafting work and projects is mandatory.
