Struvek specializes in engineering drafting, BIM modeling, and design support for AEC firms, primarily focusing on structural building projects while expanding into water, transportation, and industrial structures. Joining Struvek means becoming part of a young, dynamic team working on real US projects. The role involves designing and checking reinforced concrete structures for irrigation and water-related projects, including canal structures, headworks, regulators, culverts, siphons, spillways, outlets, and pump stations. While your calculations and markups will guide the modeling team in producing drawings, final review and stamping are conducted by a licensed US engineer.

Key Responsibilities
- Design reinforced concrete hydraulic structures such as retaining walls, channels, culverts, regulators, spillways, and pump station components, ensuring stability, strength, and serviceability.
- Perform checks for sliding, overturning, uplift, and bearing pressure on water-retaining and water-control structures.
- Prepare clear and comprehensive calculation packages and design markups for the modeling team to follow.
- Review drawings and models against your designs to identify and flag any discrepancies or errors.
- Coordinate with the Senior Modeler regarding drawing schedules and any design modifications.
- Provide daily progress updates and report any design risks directly to the company founder.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a structural focus.
- Between 3 to 6 years of structural design experience, specifically with irrigation, canal, dam, barrage, or other hydraulic structures.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as STAAD, SAP2000, SAFE, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of reinforced concrete design principles and fundamental geotechnical concepts including bearing capacity, stability, and uplift.
- Familiarity with US design codes like ACI 318, ACI 350, and ASCE 7, or the willingness to learn them quickly.
- Submission of previous design work or calculation examples is mandatory.
- Good written English skills to prepare calculations and provide clear updates.
- Availability to work full-time on-site in Lahore.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with US Bureau of Reclamation or US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) design guidelines is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics and experience coordinating with hydraulic engineers is a plus.
- Professional Engineering Council (PEC) registration or progress toward obtaining it is desirable.
- Familiarity with Revit or AutoCAD for reviewing drawings is beneficial.

What We Offer
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from PKR 150,000 to 200,000, commensurate with skills and experience.
- Full-time, on-site position based in Lahore, working Monday to Friday.
- Opportunity to work directly on real US projects alongside the company founder.
- Potential for career growth into a lead design role as the engineering team expands.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a brief technical interview. Applications should include a CV and examples of past design work or calculations. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute to significant hydraulic engineering projects within a supportive and growing company environment.
