Structure Design Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Structural Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, analysis, and management of various structural projects, including buildings and bridges. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all quality and safety standards. This role requires close collaboration with architects, contractors, and other professionals to deliver innovative and compliant engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Analysis: Develop and analyze structural designs using industry-standard software and engineering principles. Ensure all designs are robust, efficient, and meet project requirements.

Project Management: Lead structural engineering projects from initial concept through to completion. Manage timelines, budgets, and quality control to ensure successful project delivery.

Technical Review: Perform thorough reviews of project designs, calculations, and plans to verify accuracy and compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Collaboration: Coordinate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve design and construction challenges, ensuring smooth project execution.

Site Inspections: Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and verify adherence to approved plans and specifications.

Report Preparation: Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, documentation, and presentations for clients and stakeholders, clearly communicating technical information.

Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and national building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Innovation: Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in structural engineering to integrate innovative solutions into projects.

Required Qualifications

Educational Background: Master’s degree in Structural Engineering is required.

Experience: A minimum of one year of proven experience in structural engineering. Fresh graduates with a strong academic record and relevant technical knowledge are encouraged to apply for junior-level roles.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with structural analysis and detailing software such as STAAD.Pro, MiTek, BIM 360, BarBender/Barbench, Sapphire, and Pryda. A solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations is essential.

Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are critical. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are necessary for effective teamwork and client interaction. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information

Candidates with experience in project management and a proactive approach to incorporating innovative engineering solutions will be highly valued.

This is a full-time, in-person position based in Lahore. Applicants must be willing to commute reliably or plan to relocate prior to starting work.
