Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with prospective students to assess their academic backgrounds, career interests, and financial situations.
- Provide tailored advice on suitable countries, institutions, and academic programs based on individual student profiles.
- Explain admission requirements, application procedures, scholarship opportunities, and visa processes clearly and accurately.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of student interactions and progress throughout the application and admission phases.
- Communicate regularly with students and their families, responding promptly to inquiries and offering continuous support.
- Participate in outreach activities, information sessions, and educational events to promote Ocean1’s services and expand student engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent, professional, and positive advisory experience for all clients.
- Uphold high ethical standards and professionalism in all interactions and advisory services.

Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to provide student and career counseling, guiding individuals toward appropriate academic and career pathways.
- Strong communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening when engaging with students and families.
- Customer service orientation with a focus on empathy, responsiveness, and maintaining a supportive approach.
- Basic understanding of education systems and international study options, including admission processes and program structures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Business, or a related field. Advanced qualifications are considered an advantage.
- Relevant experience in student advisory, counseling, or education services, preferably within overseas education consulting.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with digital tools for documentation, communication, and reporting.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple student cases simultaneously.
- Willingness to work full-time on-site in Karachi within a team-oriented environment.
