Student Relationship Officer

IMC Certifications is seeking a dedicated Student Relationship Officer to manage and nurture prospective student inquiries, foster strong relationships, and support the admissions process. This role demands excellent communication skills, consistent follow-up, and the ability to convert leads into confirmed enrollments. The ideal candidate will be proactive in understanding student needs and guiding them toward suitable certification programs while collaborating closely with the admissions and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage student inquiries via calls, WhatsApp, and other communication channels promptly and professionally.
- Assess student requirements and recommend appropriate certification programs that align with their goals.
- Maintain regular communication and follow-up with prospective students to encourage enrollment.
- Convert qualified leads into confirmed admissions, meeting or exceeding assigned targets.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of student interactions and leads within the CRM system.
- Collaborate with admissions and sales teams to ensure a seamless enrollment process.
- Provide detailed program information, fee structures, and necessary documentation to prospective students.
- Prepare and maintain daily reports on activities, follow-ups, and conversion rates to track performance.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with students throughout their enrollment journey to enhance satisfaction and retention.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in sales, admissions, student counseling, customer service, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a confident and persuasive approach.
- Proven ability to manage sales targets and conduct effective follow-ups.
- Familiarity with CRM systems is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills
- Experience in education technology (EdTech), admissions, telesales, or other customer-facing roles will be considered an advantage.
- Key skills include student counseling, sales, lead generation, lead conversion, follow-up, CRM management, communication, relationship building, and target achievement.
