Student Visa Counselor

Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one counseling to prospective students regarding study abroad options, suitable academic programs, and destination countries.
- Guide students through admission and visa requirements, explaining application processes and timelines clearly.
- Conduct daily counseling sessions, evaluate academic profiles, and recommend appropriate institutions based on student goals.
- Coordinate with internal teams to prepare and review necessary documents, assist with visa filing, and maintain accurate records of student interactions and case progress.
- Respond promptly to inquiries in person, by phone, and online, ensuring professional and empathetic communication.
- Participate in seminars and information sessions to promote study abroad opportunities.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with students and their families to support their educational journeys.

Required Qualifications
- Strong student counseling skills, including guidance throughout the study abroad application process.
- Career counseling abilities to help students clarify their goals, select suitable programs, and align education paths with future career opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English and Urdu, with the ability to simplify complex procedures.
- Solid customer service skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism in managing inquiries and expectations.
- Sound understanding of international education systems and admission processes for universities and colleges.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in student counseling, study abroad advisory, or education consultancy is advantageous.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple student cases simultaneously.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications, online research, and digital record-keeping.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an office environment based in Lahore while maintaining high standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
