Style Group of Industries is seeking a skilled Boiler Operator to manage the daily operations and maintenance of boilers at our facility located on Kasur Road, Lahore. The Boiler Operator is responsible for starting, stopping, and adjusting boilers to ensure efficient and safe operation. This role requires close monitoring of pressure, temperature, and fuel flow, along with conducting routine maintenance and repairs to maintain equipment performance. The position demands strict adherence to safety regulations and compliance standards, given the high-pressure nature of the systems involved.
The Boiler Operator leads a team of 10 persons and must demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of boiler systems. Responsibilities include performing equipment inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, conducting chemical testing of boiler water, and maintaining detailed logs of daily operations and maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess boiler certification and 4 to 5 years of experience in a similar operational environment, capable of overseeing both personnel and technical aspects of boiler management.
Responsibilities
- Operate boilers by starting, stopping, and adjusting controls to optimize fuel flow, pressure, and temperature for efficient performance.
- Monitor boiler operations continuously to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory standards for high-pressure equipment.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance, including cleaning boilers, replacing filters and valves, and repairing pipes and pumps to prevent operational failures.
- Conduct regular chemical testing of boiler water to maintain the correct chemical balance and check fluid levels to avoid scale and corrosion.
- Inspect safety devices and other critical components frequently to identify potential hazards or malfunctions early.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of daily readings, maintenance activities, repairs, and operational reports for regulatory and internal purposes.
- Lead and coordinate a team of 10 boiler technicians and assistants, ensuring adequate training, supervision, and workflow management.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot boiler problems promptly, making necessary adjustments or repairs to minimize downtime and maintain continuous operation.
- Implement and enforce strict safety and operational compliance standards to safeguard personnel and equipment.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to improve boiler efficiency, system upgrades, and safety protocols.
