Sub Engineer Civil (PPS-6)

Applications are invited from qualified candidates for a contract position within the Project Management Unit (PMU) for the “Lahore Wastewater and Drainage Management Project (LWDMP) – Sewerage System from Larechs Colony to Gulshan-e-Ravi Lahore (Through Trenchless Technology).” This project is funded by the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) and focuses on improving Lahore’s sewerage infrastructure using advanced trenchless technology. The role requires candidates with relevant technical expertise and experience to support the successful execution and monitoring of the project.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily site activities and prepare progress reports in accordance with approved designs and specifications.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with Consultant and Contractor teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Review and verify contractor claims and bills prior to submission to the disbursing authority.
- Facilitate coordination among stakeholders and address public grievances promptly to avoid delays.
- Prepare and review work schedules for various activities to monitor and ensure steady progress.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Project Director (PD) to support project objectives.

Required Qualifications:
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in either the public or private sector, preferably involving infrastructure or construction projects.
