Sunder Plast is seeking a skilled Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of experience to manage financial records and ensure accuracy in accounting operations. The ideal candidate holds a BBA or MBA degree and possesses a strong background in account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, and stock auditing. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in Excel and spreadsheets, and the ability to work within a dynamic team environment. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial data and supporting the finance department's daily activities.
The Accountant at Sunder Plast will lead and coordinate a small team of two personnel to efficiently handle various accounting tasks. This role involves overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with company policies, and maintaining accurate stock and audit records. The candidate will also collaborate with cross-functional departments to streamline processes and improve financial reporting practices. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee a team of two accounting personnel to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Perform account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records, ensuring that all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Conduct stock auditing to verify inventory levels and report any inconsistencies or irregularities.
- Utilize Excel and spreadsheet software to organize financial data, generate reports, and perform calculations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls related to financial reporting and accounting.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Monitor cash flow and assist with financial planning to optimize resource allocation.
