Key Responsibilities
- Ensure proper monitoring and control of product expiry dates to maintain quality standards.
- Update rail cards and signage promptly to reflect current information and promotions.
- Maintain shelves in a presentable and fully stocked condition to enhance customer experience.
- Monitor stock availability consistently to avoid shortages.
- Accurately record repacking activities in the GMS system in a timely manner.
- Conduct weekly Material Availability Verification (MAV) through internal consumption tracking for bakery production.
- Manage stock orders with complete and accurate documentation.
- Participate actively in weekly and annual inventory counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to minimize wastage and control shrinkage.
- Coordinate and resolve Quality Assurance (QA) issues identified during periodic visits and inspections.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in bakery and production areas, including equipment sanitation.
- Continuously monitor negative stock levels and take necessary actions.
- Conduct free product samplings to promote high-priced bakery items and support marketing efforts.
- Recommend new bakery recipes aimed at improving sales and meeting customer preferences.
- Monitor structural deficiencies within the bakery and production environment to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should possess an Intermediate level of education along with a minimum of four years of relevant experience in bakery operations, stock management, or a related field.
