Supply Chain Analyst - TJ / 1923553

Our client, Dalda Foods Limited, is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join their team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in supply chain data analysis and forecasting, with strong proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel and SQL. This role involves analyzing supply chain processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements, and supporting strategic decision-making through business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI. The Supply Chain Analyst will work closely with various departments to ensure accurate forecasting and effective inventory management, contributing to the overall success of supply chain operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain advanced Microsoft Excel models and SQL queries to support demand forecasting and inventory planning.
- Create and present business intelligence reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI to communicate key performance indicators to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives.
- Support the development and implementation of supply chain forecasting models to enhance accuracy and responsiveness.
- Monitor supply chain performance metrics and recommend corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Conduct market and supplier data analysis to assist in procurement decision-making and vendor management.
- Assist in preparing financial analyses and reports related to supply chain operations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies in all supply chain activities.
- Continuously research and apply best practices in supply chain management to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should hold relevant professional qualifications such as ICMA, CIMA, ACCA, MBA, or MS in Finance. A minimum of three years’ experience in supply chain analysis is essential. Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel and SQL is required, along with experience using Microsoft Power BI or similar data visualization tools. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are critical for success in this role.
