Supply Chain Coordinator

Medfit, a growing medical apparel company established in 2019, operates through e-commerce and retail outlets across Pakistan. Currently, we are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator with a background in the textile industry to join our team in Rawalpindi. The ideal candidate will manage fabric ordering, production planning, forecasting, and coordination between the factory and warehouse to ensure timely production and stock availability aligned with market demand.

Key Responsibilities

- Fabric Ordering: Place timely orders for required fabrics and ensure their prompt delivery to the factory.
- Cutting Planning: Develop cutting plans after fabric arrival, detailing the quantity of pieces needed by color and size.
- Production Follow-up: Liaise with the factory to obtain production timelines and ensure orders are completed within set deadlines.
- Dyeing Planning: Prepare dyeing schedules and arrange for additional fabric orders when necessary.
- Stock & Production Planning: Prioritize production based on current stock levels, fabric availability, and product color requirements.
- Demand Forecasting: Analyze seasonal and market trends to forecast demand, ensuring adequate fabric supply and timely production.
- Factory & Warehouse Coordination: Maintain smooth communication between the factory and warehouse to facilitate production, stock movement, and timely supply.
- Import Coordination: Manage the import process, particularly from China, including placing orders, supplier coordination, and shipment follow-ups.
- ERP & Reporting: Utilize ERP systems and relevant software to maintain records, monitor stock, and track production progress effectively.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 2 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within the textile or apparel industry.
- Practical knowledge of fabric ordering, dyeing planning, and cutting planning processes.
- Strong understanding of production planning, demand forecasting, and managing seasonal stock requirements.
- Proven ability to manage production deadlines and maintain follow-up with factories and suppliers.
- Basic understanding of international import procedures, especially from China.
- Experience using ERP systems and related software tools.
- Excellent coordination, planning, and problem-solving skills.

- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 50,000.
- Work location is in-person at the Medfit Head Office in Rawalpindi.
