Supply Chain Executive - Textiles

We are urgently seeking a mid-level Supply Chain Executive specializing in textiles to join our team at the Head Office located in Gulshan-e-Maymar, Karachi. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in procurement follow-up, vendor coordination, inventory control, shipping documentation, and advanced MS Excel skills. A solid understanding of textile export operations is essential. This role demands a proactive professional capable of managing the flow of yarn, fabric, trims, and accessories in line with production plans, ensuring timely shipment of export orders.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and follow up on the procurement of yarn, fabric, trims, and accessories according to production requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding pricing, lead times, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Track order status from purchase order to shipment and keep internal teams informed.
- Monitor material requirements, inventory levels, and supply status to minimize excess or obsolete stock.
- Prepare and verify shipping and export documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
- Collaborate with Production, Merchandising, Quality, Warehouse, and Purchase departments as needed.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs agents to ensure smooth export processes.
- Enter, update, and maintain transaction records in the ERP system.
- Identify delays, discrepancies, or shortages and coordinate corrective actions promptly.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports using MS Excel for management review.
- Perform additional supply chain duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics within the textile export industry.
- Strong knowledge of textile materials, production processes, and export documentation.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience with ERP-based inventory and purchasing systems.
- Proven expertise in export documentation and shipment coordination.
- Demonstrated ability in vendor follow-up and order tracking.
- Excellent negotiation, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Immediate availability to join will be preferred.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Candidates with at least five years of experience specifically in supply chain operations within the textiles industry will be highly regarded. The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs 65,000 to Rs 100,000. This is an in-person role based at the company’s head office.
