Metropolitan Warehouse & Delivery (MWD), established in 1989, is a prominent provider of White Glove furniture delivery services across the United States. With operations in 44 cities and a workforce of over 1,200 professionals, MWD specializes in e-commerce furniture delivery, warehousing, and logistics solutions. The Management Trainee Officer (MTO) – Supply Chain & Operations program offers fresh graduates an opportunity to gain practical experience in supply chain management, logistics, and operational processes. Trainees will collaborate closely with the Supply Chain and Operations teams to understand business workflows, support daily activities, and develop analytical and coordination skills within a dynamic international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily supply chain, logistics, and operational activities to ensure smooth functioning.
- Support shipment tracking, delivery scheduling, and route coordination to optimize delivery efficiency.
- Maintain accurate operational records, shipment data, and delivery documentation.
- Prepare operational reports and assist in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance.
- Coordinate with internal departments to facilitate seamless workflows and timely deliveries.
- Identify operational discrepancies and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and other relevant systems for data management and reporting purposes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates who have completed their degree in 2026 or are expected to graduate by the end of 2026.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data handling techniques.
- Willingness to learn, work collaboratively, and adapt to evolving operational requirements.
- Availability to work evening/night shifts and attend the office onsite as required.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- The program duration is six months, providing structured exposure to supply chain and operations functions.
- A fixed monthly salary of PKR 100,000 is offered.
- Working hours will align with organizational needs, with an expected shift from 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
- Weekly holidays are observed on Saturdays and Sundays.
- The role requires onsite presence; remote work options are not available.
- The position is based at the company’s physical location, emphasizing hands-on experience and direct team collaboration.
