Supply Chain & Inventory Management Expert

We are seeking a seasoned supply chain professional with a strong background in procurement, vendor development, inventory and warehouse management, production planning, logistics, and order fulfillment within manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience working with plastics, pipes, or engineering products and demonstrate a proven track record in enhancing supplier performance, ensuring raw material availability, and maintaining effective inventory control. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to engage directly with entrepreneurs, along with a willingness to travel frequently across various regions.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end supply chain activities including procurement, vendor development, inventory management, warehouse operations, production planning, logistics, and order fulfillment.
- Improve supplier performance by implementing strategies that enhance raw material availability and optimize inventory control.
- Provide practical technical assistance to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), including conducting enterprise diagnostics and developing actionable plans.
- Deliver on-site coaching and capacity-building sessions to support operational improvements and supply chain efficiency.
- Maintain thorough documentation and reporting of supply chain processes and improvements.
- Communicate effectively with entrepreneurs and stakeholders in Urdu; proficiency in Sindhi is an added advantage.
- Travel regularly to locations such as Thatta, Sujawal, Badin, Tharparkar, and Larkana to provide hands-on support and technical guidance.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in supply chain management, procurement, vendor development, inventory and warehouse management, production planning, logistics, and order fulfillment within manufacturing enterprises.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively within assigned regions.
- Proficiency in Urdu for effective communication with local entrepreneurs.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Relevant professional certifications in supply chain or related disciplines will be considered an advantage.
- Experience working with plastics, pipes, or engineering products is highly desirable.
- Prior experience providing technical assistance to MSMEs, including conducting enterprise diagnostics, developing action plans, and delivering on-site coaching and capacity building.
- Ability to communicate in Sindhi is preferred and will facilitate better engagement with local stakeholders.
