Supply Chain Manager

NJV School Management Board is seeking a highly organized and experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee and enhance the organization’s procurement, inventory, logistics, and vendor management functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective supply chain strategies that ensure smooth coordination across departments, meeting procurement needs efficiently and cost-effectively. This role demands a proactive leader who can manage end-to-end supply chain operations while maintaining strong supplier relationships and driving cost-saving initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive supply chain strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational objectives.
- Oversee all procurement, purchasing, inventory control, and logistics activities to maintain seamless operations.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms and build lasting partnerships.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods, materials, and services to meet the organization’s requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels closely to maintain optimal stock, avoiding shortages or excess.
- Maintain effective vendor relationships and conduct regular performance evaluations to ensure quality and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, budgetary constraints, and organizational procedures.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand and fulfill their procurement needs efficiently.
- Monitor costs continuously and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the supply chain.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to procurement, inventory, and supplier information.
- Prepare regular reports detailing procurement activities, inventory status, expenditures, and overall supply chain performance.
- Ensure quality, timely delivery, and value for money in all procurement activities.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics management.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, inventory control, and logistics operations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, and familiarity with procurement and inventory management systems.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
