Kifayat Publishers is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Officer to join their head office team in PECHS Block 2, Karachi. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth supply chain operations by managing timely order fulfillment, addressing customer inquiries, and supporting various logistics activities. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where collaboration and efficiency are essential to maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain positive and effective relationships with suppliers and distributors to ensure seamless supply chain processes.
- Organize and oversee inventory management by maintaining a detailed database of available stock and forecasting usage per project.
- Monitor supplier delivery schedules and quality performance regularly to ensure compliance with standards.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding order processing, delivery status, and product availability.
- Collaborate closely with the supply chain team to ensure timely deliveries and accurate shipment tracking.
- Resolve issues related to order fulfillment, inventory shortages, and delayed shipments efficiently.
- Maintain and update customer records and order details to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with returns, exchanges, and order adjustments as needed.
- Communicate proactively with customers to provide updates on delivery status.
- Contribute to the preparation of supply chain performance reports to support continuous improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in supply chain management or a related field.
- Graduate degree from a recognized institution.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and team members.
- Proficiency in maintaining databases and tracking inventory.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time position based out of Karachi with working hours from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The role involves some travel on the road while being anchored at the head office. The salary range offered is PKR 40,000 to 55,000 per month.
