Mondelēz International is seeking a Supply Planner to join their team focused on Beverages and Meals within the GDM and KSA regions. This role involves managing replenishment and production forecasting to ensure alignment with business plans, optimizing inventory across the supply chain, and collaborating with manufacturing plants in MEU (Germany, Spain) and ANZ. The planner will be responsible for mid- to long-term supply planning, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data, and supporting operational execution by working closely with plant operations, suppliers, and demand teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop short- and long-term end-to-end supply chain plans for products produced both internally and externally.
- Meet key performance indicators including customer fill rate targets, finished goods inventory levels, and waste reduction objectives.
- Perform root-cause analysis to drive continuous improvement of supply plans.
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of system data related to supply planning.
- Deliver master and detailed schedules, long-range plans considering capacity, and material requirement plans using system tools.
- Support and implement planning improvements to enhance customer fill rates, inventory management, and waste reduction in line with company KPIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence priorities and improve overall supply chain planning processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field. Supply chain certification is an advantage.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably within FMCG/CPG industries, especially food or other fast-moving sectors where shelf life is critical.
- Experience working within Integrated Business Planning (IBP) or Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) environments.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and SAP APO; knowledge of o9 is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and develop management reports to support business decisions.
- Strong numeracy and technical skills to ensure data accuracy and robustness.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver on cash, cost, and service level targets.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Change management capabilities to support continuous process improvements.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
- Experience influencing cross-functional teams and working on key priorities to improve supply chain plans.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple functions on a daily basis.
- No travel requirements for this role.
- Work schedule follows Bahrain working hours, Sunday to Thursday.
- No relocation support is provided for this position.
