We are looking for a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to supervise our construction project. The candidate desirous of attaining this position shall have sufficient past experience in commercial/residential (apartment) high rise construction projects supervision.
The incumbent will require performing supervision of structural design/construction dynamics of the project, examine/prepare/verify technical drawings and project architectural specifications to ensure executions conformance to regulatory standards and contract requirements.
Salary will be based on relevant prior experience.
Responsibilities:
- Execution of civil work as per structural drawings specs and designs.
- Preparing and implementing project plans.
- Monitoring Contractual Work as per BOQ and Plans
- Monitoring and optimizing safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory compliance.
- Organizing, arranging and storing construction Materials at site.
- Preparing cost estimates and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available.
- Completing quality assurance and providing feedback to the Management.
- Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications
- Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
- Plan the work and efficiently organize the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines
- prepare reports as required
- Excellant verbal and written communication skills.
