Parts Manager

Suzuki Multan City Motors is seeking a diligent and knowledgeable Parts Manager with a strong background in automotive parts operations to join our team. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree or diploma in Automotive, Mechanical, or a relevant field and has 3 to 5 years of experience managing inventory, procurement, and sales of automotive parts. This role demands a firm understanding of genuine and OEM parts, exceptional organizational skills for maintaining accurate stock records, and the ability to coordinate efficient parts ordering and replenishment. While this role does not involve direct team management, effective communication, coordination, and negotiation skills are vital for collaborating across departments and with suppliers to ensure seamless parts operations. The Parts Manager will play a critical role in monitoring stock levels, analyzing trends for fast and slow-moving items, and managing stock ageing to optimize inventory turnover. Experience in warehouse management and customer handling related to parts sales is essential. Proficiency in MS Office and inventory or ERP systems will enable the candidate to maintain accurate documentation and improve process efficiency. Preference is given to candidates with prior experience in automotive dealership environments who demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address challenges within parts operations.
Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the parts inventory, ensuring accurate stock control and warehouse organization.
Coordinate parts ordering, procurement, receiving, and issuance activities to maintain optimal stock levels and availability.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records, documentation, and reports through effective use of inventory and order processing systems.
Monitor stock levels regularly, including fast-moving and slow-moving parts, and manage stock ageing to reduce excess or obsolete inventory.
Identify and verify genuine and OEM automotive parts and ensure correct application in accordance with vehicle specifications.
Support parts sales efforts by providing comprehensive product knowledge and assisting customers with parts identification and compatibility inquiries.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate procurement terms, delivery schedules, and pricing to optimize inventory costs and service quality.
Analyze parts usage trends and sales data to forecast demand and inform strategic purchasing decisions.
Implement continuous improvements in parts inventory processes, utilizing ERP and inventory management tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Coordinate effectively with internal teams such as service, sales, and accounting departments to ensure smooth parts operations and customer satisfaction.
Adhere to company policies and industry regulations related to parts handling, storage, and sales.
Provide regular reports and analysis on parts inventory status, sales performance, and operational issues to management.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards within the parts storage and handling environment.
