Business Development Executive

The Business Development Executive (BDE) at the Swiss Business Council (SBC) is responsible for developing and facilitating business opportunities, partnerships, and trade and investment linkages between Pakistani and Swiss companies. The role involves engaging with SBC members, Swiss companies, the Swiss Embassy, government institutions, chambers of commerce, business associations, and other external stakeholders in Pakistan and Switzerland. The BDE also coordinates business delegations, B2B meetings, market-entry opportunities, trade missions, webinars, networking events, and business development projects, while identifying new leads and supporting members in exploring commercial opportunities. The position also contributes to market research, proposals, presentations, stakeholder coordination, and the implementation of SBC’s strategic business development initiatives.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and leads.
Build and maintain relationships with corporate members, business associations, chambers, government institutions, embassies, and other stakeholders.
Facilitate business matchmaking, trade and investment opportunities, and market-entry initiatives.
Coordinate business delegations, B2B meetings, webinars, roadshows, networking events, and other business activities.
Liaise with external stakeholders and partner organizations in Switzerland and Pakistan.
Conduct market research and prepare business proposals, presentations, briefing notes, and reports.
Follow up on business leads and ensure effective engagement with prospective partners and companies.
Support the Executive Committee and senior management in implementing strategic business development initiatives.
