- Conduct research to identify new markets and ascertain customer and farmers’ needs
- Meet with existing partners to assess the effectiveness of the partnership, provide feedback to the management on the status of the partnership and suggest remedial actions where required
- Meet with new potential partners, gauge the potential for partnership
- Arrange business meeting with potential partners
- Promote BaKhabar Kissan and its services
- Liaise with BaKhabar Kissan’s Agri and technology teams to provide them feedback received from partners and potential partners
- Be aware of the technology products and services roadmap of BaKhabar Kissan
- Promote BaKhabar Kissan’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
- Build long-term relationships based on trust with new and existing customers
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
- Experience in customer support is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Proficiency in English & Urdu. Fluency in a regional language will be an asset.
- Knowledge of the Agriculture Market in Pakistan
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- BS degree in Agriculture with an MBA or MS degree in Agriculture (MBA will be given preference)
- 6+ years’ experience
