The System Engineer will play a critical role in planning, deploying, managing, and optimizing the IT infrastructure at Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN). This includes overseeing servers, storage solutions, virtualization platforms, networks, security systems, and essential enterprise applications. The position demands ensuring the IT environment is highly available, reliable, scalable, and secure. Additionally, the System Engineer will provide technical leadership and mentorship to the IT infrastructure team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure components such as servers, storage, virtualization platforms, and network systems to support organizational needs.
- Manage and optimize enterprise applications critical to hospital operations, ensuring their availability and performance.
- Implement and monitor security systems to protect IT assets and sensitive data from internal and external threats.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of all IT systems through proactive maintenance and upgrades.
- Provide technical leadership to the IT infrastructure team, guiding best practices and troubleshooting complex issues.
- Mentor junior team members, supporting their professional growth and skill development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT infrastructure with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
- Conduct regular system audits, performance tuning, and capacity planning to anticipate future infrastructure needs.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Maintain documentation related to infrastructure architecture, configurations, and procedures.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience in managing and supporting complex IT infrastructure environments, including servers, storage, virtualization, and networking.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise security systems and best practices to safeguard critical information.
- Hands-on expertise with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Experience with network design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with enterprise application deployment and management.
- Ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior staff effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of IT governance and compliance.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
