Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize the organization's IT infrastructure and network environment. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering enterprise-grade infrastructure projects, securing network environments, supporting cloud platforms, and ensuring high availability of business-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure from the ground up, including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and network segmentation.
- Configure and manage Fortinet (FortiGate) firewalls, routing, NAT, VPNs, and security policies.
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows servers.
- Build and maintain AWS infrastructure and cloud-based services.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and infrastructure management.
- Deploy and manage virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Install, configure, and support VoIP/IP Telephony systems.
- Deploy and maintain CCTV and IP surveillance infrastructure.
- Administer web hosting environments, including cPanel.
- Plan, implement, and regularly test backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and security, proactively resolving issues.
- Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and new site deployments.
- Supervise IT support tickets, provide technical guidance to support staff, and ensure timely resolution of incidents.
- Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and infrastructure standards.
- Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and third-party service providers for implementation and support.
- Ensure compliance with organizational IT security policies and industry best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Around 3 years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure, and enterprise networking.
- Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise network and infrastructure projects.
- Experience working in production environments with high availability requirements.
- Relevant certifications such as Fortinet (FCP/NSE), AWS, CCNA, RHCSA, LPIC, VMware, or equivalent are considered an advantage.
