Job Title: Assistant IT Officer

Department: IT (Labs)

Qualification: BSCS/BSSE or a 14-year Bachelor’s degree with a one-year Diploma in Information Technology

Experience: 1- 2 Years experience in the related field

Responsibilities

Accepting responsibility for the lab equipment’s and ensuring that all thecomputers (with up-to-date software and antivirus), printers, and scanners arerunning properly and are in working order and cleanliness of Computer Labs.
Maintenance and troubleshooting for the lab hardware and software malfunctioning.
Providing technical support to the students and teachers in the use of computers during lab sessions.
Conducting online admissions test, teacher evaluation sessions, seminars,workshops and installing the required software and troubleshooting the related problems.
Monitoring activities and behavior of students in the lab and enforcing all rulesconcerning the use of labs to ensure the physical and environmental safety of students.
Providing solution for the hardware, software, LAN, user account, ZAB Desk password and virus security related problems to the SZABIST employees and classroom PCs.
Providing technical support and troubleshoots permanent employees, adjunct faculties, and students in resetting their passwords for user accounts, whenever required.
Participating in university advancement activities i.e., orientation, convocation, conferences etc.
