- Supervises library sections; acquisition, reference, technical, circulation and periodicals.
- Initiates and implements library policies, estimates annual budget, purchases and classifies library materials.
- Responsible for making entry of books in accession register as well as periodicals in cardex sheet and also updates the records of all library members in library software.
- Assists students, faculty, and staff, in using information resources and library materials.
- Supervises, maintains and takes care of cleanliness of shelves and materials of the library.
- Responsible for sending notices to overdue borrowers and collects things back when required.
- Responsible for creating new library membership cards.
- Inspects the conditions of returned books, due date status and fines (if applicable) and shelves them.
- Maintains general discipline in library.
